Someone on the Yahoo APRS list was asking about using APRS to control a rotor and track a station automatically for ATV. Does APRSdos do this? I thought I heard something about APRSdos and rotor control. Second, is there any sort of serial interface standard for rotor controllers? If not, then what's most common? If there's anything out there with a relatively simple interface, it wouldn't be hard to add rotor tracking to the Tracker2. It's already got the math needed to calculate distance and bearing, so it wouldn't take much code to have it send rotor control commands to the second serial port to track a designated station.
