In a mountainous remote area, two factors come together: I think that's true of a lot of people... I have no objection to adding a feature in the T2 that'd allow a faster TX rate if the last position didn't make it to a digi, but the rotating path thing just seems like it'd be a source of frustration for a lot of people. I don't want *any* of my packets going WIDE3-3, and most of the time I'm not interested in any of them going direct either. There's usually no one in direct range, and I'm still (without some sort of power control) tying up the channel from the digi's perspective. Scott N1VG
