If the user doesnt know this then he shouldt be on aprs anyhow ;o) So its not the developer that specify the PHG data. Only the software requesting it the first time and storing this value as a "default". But then he manualy have to change the PHG data if there is a new setup on the radio. Doing this then all station have this PHG data and people that want to use the info have what they need.
