[aprssig] [OT] 4x20 High Contrast LCD Display available again ...

I have been getting a number of emails from people wanting to know if  
I had any more of the really nice high contrast LCD displays I had  
been selling earlier in the year. To make a long story short I  
located another box of 25 of the displays. I took three out to  
replace my own stock of them and have 22 units available for sale  
now. These displays are made by Microtips Technology. They are 4  
lines by 20  HD44780 character displays with LCD backlights. They  
have excellent contrast and in 'large number mode' can be read from  
20 feet away. The units are 1999-2001 vintage but are new/unused in  
original packing. Similar units today go for $25-35. I have bundled  
them for sale with my K107 Serial LCD Controller kit for $13 plus the  
cost of the K107 kit.

I am posting this notice to my ham radio oriented lists to give you  
guys first shot at them. I have no idea if I will be getting any more  
of these. It took me weeks to pry these out of my supplier. I will  
post to the PICList et al. tomorrow night.
