Pat, SHASTA digi is off the air right now, but K6SIS-5 in nearby Yreka has updated settings and so now is one of the "family of modern interoperable North American digis". 73, Cap KE6AFE K6SIS-5>APNU19:!4144.24NS12244.54W#PHG4930/Wn,NCAn/SCARA/Yreka CA -----Original Message----- From: aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org [mailto:aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org]On Behalf Of Patrick Green Sent: Wednesday, October 25, 2006 09:00 AM To: TAPR APRS Mailing List Subject: Re: [aprssig] Too many digi's ? Hi Cap, The TN digi in question is a "T" overlay. It's so old, the TNC needs to be replaced to get up ot standard. As far as paths are concerned, I'll use a path that works. If someone is still running RELAY and that's the only station, I can hit, I'll use that to be heard. It'll be awhile until every area is up to date. Some areas are custom too like the "SHASTA" digi in CA. It didn't support Wn-N when I was there and doubt it ever would. 73 de Pat --- KA9SCF. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
