The conversion between the WinLINK system and APRS called APRSlink is inneficient, and was ONLY designed for those people and those special circumstances when the user had no other message means available to him except a D7 or D700 radio. Using Uiview to access the WInLINK system through the APRSlink, is something like calling your Mom long distance and asking her to communicate with your wife in your next room by mailing her a letter via the post office...
