I use WinAPRS Version 2.8.5 and sending a message to 'APRSDEPOT' will not work. It needs to be addressed to a Ham Call type designation like APRS-1 or APRSDE-1 or like WLNK-1. Not sure how other APRS platforms work but this system does not work with WinAPRS. Might I suggest perhaps using IRLP-1 for the address and have your APRSDEPOT snag it and then send out the reply.
