[aprssig] Davis Wx station without a PC

Hi All, 

Is anyone out there using A Davis weather station Advantage Pro2 with the WeatherLink software for APRS ( with data logger )

I seem to be having trouble getting the thing to transmit without the aid of a PC which Davis says is possible, thats why I bought the APRS software kit.

I can see the aprs string that is coming out of the Wx station in Hyperterm but when I connect it to a TNC via the adapter supplied nothing happens.

All my radio equipment is working as it should as I have no problem doing APRS from my PC.

any help much appreciated
