Looking at the POSITION/STATUS menu, it appears to have the same
pre-configurable 5 fixed posits and 5 status texts as the D700.
But I noticed that the 5th status text appears to automatically
insert your operating frequency into your packets..

This will be very helpful at letting everyone stay in touch...
