Ralph,

 From the discussions I've seen on the TS-2000 Yahoo group, the D700  
control panel can be used with the TS-2000 in place of the RC-2000  
controller. I would assume the opposite is also true. As to whether  
you'd like to spend $350 for an RC-2000 is yet another question  
(grin). The D-700 control panel and the RC-2000 appear to be the same  
device.
