Right, Doug! Like using the KPC-9612+ for a 9600 Telpac Node for the neighborhood instead. All one needs for a modern VHF APRS "S overlay" digi is an old TNC-2 (like a MFJ-1270 or a PacComm Tiny-2) with a new EPROM setup with the free UIDIGI software. Or a KPC-3 (v8.2 and up). Or the UI-View32 application in KISS Mode. Or a OpenTracker2. Etc. But not all of those can allow use of 9600 baud. 73, Cap > -----Original Message----- > From: aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org > [mailto:aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org]On Behalf Of Doug Ferrell, KD4MOJ > Sent: Sunday, December 02, 2007 12:32 PM > To: TAPR APRS Mailing List > Subject: RE: [aprssig] KPC9612+ > > > -----Original Message----- > From: aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org > [mailto:aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org]On Behalf Of Michael J.
