A mouse? No one told me I could plug a mouse into the darn thing! hi 
Actually, I don't have much experience on Linux with a GUI & a mouse, 
but could it be either a power management thing or the mouse driver 
getting confused when it sees serial data on a RS-232 port? An 
alternative... how fast is the CPU and how much RAM in the box? Any 
chance it's just a performance issue? Just a thought...
