[aprssig] KAM 98 as a fill in digi?

Can a KAM 98 be configured to operate as a fill-in VHF
digi?  I still haven't had a chance to fix the normal
KPC3+ that sits on the digi but I do have a KAM 98
that I could temporarily press into service.
