Don't worry about the negative comments; most of those were directed  
to the folks who responded to your message and not to you.

The thing that really interests me is that you appear to be using the  
D700 for APRS _and_ displaying the APRS data on a computer at the  
same time.  Is this true?  If so, _please_ share how you did it, as  
it's something I have wanted to do for years.
