Just a side note:  I can't think of many groups where once they
reach a certain critical mass don't start arguing and infighting.
Churches split apart in this manner quite regularly, so do hobby
groups.  APRS as a hobby is no different.

The groups that _don't_ do this when they reach that larger stage
are a real blessing, but they are few and far between.  I'm a member
of a small number of these, for which I'm grateful.

What's this go to do with APRS really?  Nothing!  'Spose we should
get back to it...
