The steps I put on the fd2007.html web page include for you to look at FINDU.COM for the call of your choice and see if was already in use. If not, then get yours on the air. It is first come, first serve. After everyone gets on the air, and you want to negotiate numbers, that is OK.. Please see http://www.ew.usna.edu/~bruninga/aprs/fd2007.html Actually, we could have done it as section only, then put NTX in your message group and then a single message to NTX would be received by ALL NTX APRS stations. But then you couldn't really tell who was sending a message to whom... Nd besides,we want to see all these NTX-n stations on the map anyway. Also, this ties into the idea of making each EOC have a unique but pre-determined call, so we can communicate with them in the blind... Bob, WB4APR Bob WB4APR
