Yes, in fact, after I sent that message I realized that I should have mentioned that I would expect the device to act a tracker without the computer attached, so yes, something like a Tracker2 with some storage would be ideal - and, of course, updates to Xastir to support it as a TNC type. -- William McKeehan KI4HDU
