I'm not a member, so please forward.
   I have installed a D700 in my 05 Prius.  I don't leave it on when
I'm not in the vehicle, unless I'm using it with my ht as a cross-
band repeater, and then I use low power on it on both bands.  I've
had no problems and it is working just fine.
