Ray,

DONT, I repeat, DONT try soldering the tabs to the battery. I did and it 
exploded in my face, fortunately I was wearing glasses and they saved my 
eyes. Either buy the right battery if you can or do as someone suggested 
and see if you have a Battery Plus store near you. They will spot weld 
the tabs for you.
