For whatever subjective reason one wants to use, some digi owners /
administrators across parts of the country are slow to just plain
unresponsive to the New WIDEN-n Paradigm. Also, there is much documentation
on the WWW which still indicates RELAY should be the first position in one's
path.

I'm not advocating a return to the old path recommendations, just noting a
slow implementation *nationwide* of the New WIDEN-n Paradigm.
