Good point.  My guess is that it should probably still show the frequency.  Because even if you cannot talk to him when hhis "O" Operator=Present Overlay is not showing, you still can see his freuqency for calling him some other time.

Once we get all software sending the Operator bit, then it will be nice to have a control button on the mobile APRS radio that says "NEAREST OP".. and the radio would then QSY to that guys frequency if the "O" was showing..
