Hi, I can understand how within perl, when you program serial, when a line come in, then it can be processed. Often a carriage return or line feed signals the script to proceed. In socket programming, how does a perl script handle data ? Does it come in chunks or still get processed based on carriage returns ? What if the data is not terminated in a carriage return ?
