[aprssig] APRS in the UK?

Hi

I need some help configuring an APRS tracker for operation in the UK. I
understand that the frequency is 144.800, but need some help on paths.
The person is actually in Calais,France -- and he's trying to hit some
digipeaters across the channel.

THis car just came thru his area -- http://aprs.fi/?call=G0BJI-3 --
what can I learn about the required path from examiningt these packets?

your help appreciated!!!
