Might be construed as commercial use of amateur radio by the FCC. You message the call "FUEL" and you then get a message from, say, FUEL123 (123 is just a unique sequence number, reused when you use them all up), with a position and a message saying "$4.02 Conoco, 2 miles North-east" It might even send back the 5 closest stations and prices (maybe with the price in the name - something like F402asz (where asz is the sequence number - using letters for more sequences) for nice plotting on a GPS map.
