Hi Al. Are you trying to run the native Windows Remote Desktop application? If so, beware that only XP and later versions support RD. I would try running RD from 1 PC to another PC on your LAN before trying to run RD via Cox. That "should" eliminate a lot of possible problem areas. I've been running Windows RD for years. I couldn't get along without it. 73, de Ken, N5EQT -----Original Message----- From: aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org [mailto:aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org] On Behalf Of gerheim at cox.net Sent: Tuesday, February 12, 2008 6:15 AM To: APRSSIG Mailing List; william.diaz at comcast.net Subject: [aprssig] Temporarily out of action I haven't been able to keep the GO-32 satgate up. Very busy. I'll have the latest ASatLogger beta version up sometime "soon". At the moment, my ham activities are centered around getting Remote Desktop running with Cox ISP, and a DI-604 router. If any of you know of any "gotcha's" with this line-up, please let me know. (Yes, I enabled RD, forwarded port 3389, used a DDNS server, and all the other stuff... Even tried running it without the router.) -- -Al Gerheim, K1QN HP-49G+ Software Page: http://members.cox.net/above _______________________________________________ aprssig mailing list aprssig at lists.tapr.org https://lists.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig
