Its an interesting point,
If I'm out and about, I now almost routinely check what the weather  
stations to the west of the country are showing, as that is generally  
the weather that I'll be experiencing approximately 60 minutes  
later.  It takes more than one hop to do that, but then again, we're  
an island and a much smaller country.
