Never had trouble with my GPSmap 60CS. My GPSmap 176C has a bean bag mount, but I've never taken it in carry-on. As long as it's not on the prohibited list (it IS on the list of things you can't USE in flight) and it doesn't look home-made, I doubt they'll hassle you. Scott N1VG Alan P.
