[aprssig] TSA regs on GPS?

We just completed a cross country trip from Alaska to Alabama and back.
Both Delta and Alaska airlines emphasized that you couldn't use GPS, 
cell phones,
two way radios etc between when the airplane doors were closed and when
you were back on the ground after the flight.
