The whole Internet mesh thing is already done for the XO and other Wireless devices in a far slicker manner then APRS-IS. See my previous posting with the links to the XO chat and network system. We need to focus on what we do with AMATEUR RADIO which is what we do that's special. Now coming up with AX-UDP packets that XO's and other wifi devices can generate and exchange would be a good step forward. We've talked about it for years and aprsdigi has it built in. Maybe it's time to revisit some aprs on Wifi scheme.
