The format is supposed to be... FFF.FFF+x*111111zDDMM.hhN/DDDMM.hhWrAAAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBBBCCCCCCCC.... To send it from UI-View, create an object. Just click on the map where the repeater is located and hit F5 to bring up the object editor. Enter 147.225+x (some unique letter on the end although this really doesn't make any difference unless you are looking it on the APRS-IS) for the name of the object and your T123 NEGARC Commerce GA in the object comment and the repeater callsign. Select the "antenna" symbol, 3rd from the top of the list. If you can fit it in and e.g. R20m if the range is 20 miles. Get a D7 or D700 user to take a look at it and see if it "displays" OK. Keep in mind this will go out with the path specified in the station setup and at the "object interval" specified in SETUP - MISCELLANEOUS. If you have no path at all specified in the station setup (just the required APRS), you should be OK. If you have any path entered at all, consider whether your station is the most suitable one to send it out. If there is a digi at a higher elevation with similar coverage to the repeater, perhaps it would be a better candidate for advertising the repeater. However, you should know what digis are around you and what the topography is like and whether your station is the most suitable one to do the task. 73 es cul - Keith VE7GDH -- "I may be lost, but I know exactly where I am!"
