Please give the VMWare/Xastir or "andLinux"/Xastir installs a workout at some point as you'll probably like them better. VMWare in particular is much easier to install (and runs Xastir faster) than Cygwin. I've had trouble in the past with Cygwin doing updates or new installs: They tend to break the distribution often, or introduce new bugs. I tended to leave the installation alone once I got it working, 'cuz doing an update could certainly kill Cygwin. I haven't heard quite as much about andLinux, but it'll probably be better than Cygwin as well. Docs for all three Xastir/Windows installs are here: <http://www.xastir.org/wiki/index.php/Installation_Notes> -- Curt, WE7U: <www.eskimo.com/~archer/> XASTIR: <www.xastir.org> "Lotto: A tax on people who are bad at math." -- unknown "Windows: Microsoft's tax on computer illiterates." -- WE7U The world DOES revolve around me: I picked the coordinate system!
