I'll have to dig around, someone makes a nice little module for that. It is PVC pipe with batteries in the pipe, an ultrasonic unit to measure depth, and a low power aprs radio and tnc. We were going to build them as well, but I think someone has done most of the homework already. I'll dig around, I've seen it. 73 From: aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org [mailto:aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org] On Behalf Of Adam Sent: Monday, June 30, 2008 8:03 PM To: aprssig at lists.tapr.org Subject: [aprssig] Stream/Water Gauge Anyone know what hardware people are using for the APRS stream/river gauges? I'm trying to get a starting point with designing and installing some. With all the recent flooding here in Eastern Iowa there has been a demand for better monitoring of the small streams near farmland. There is also an almost non-existant use of APRS in my area so I was thinking this might be a good way to utilize it. -Adam -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
