  My D7 is one of the last that HRO had about a month ago.

  

  I'm thinking that my D700 needs a full reset.  I get no dS
indication on a changed STATUS TEXT (as the manual says) and the dP behaves
in this strange way.  If I put the Status rate at 1/2 then I get
the full display every time because the Status Text alternates. 
Very strange...Reset time
