Yea or their mobile bluetooth fiasco...The add on almost doubles the price
of the radio and it was not available for at least 1+ years after it's
release.

  I was able to touch it (Late Sunday morning at Dayton) but not allowed to
push buttons.  The battery was dead on it anyway.  I think APRS is an add on
option to the radio.  Hopefully it isn't a $200 option like most "digital"
options are now-a-days.

    I didn't get to touch it at Dayton either, and you pretty well
    summed up all we know...
    Lets hope it has at least the functionality of the D7...
