I think it could be more than that, Bob. My additional guesses added below. Most of these (like Kenwood APRS radios) can be setup as modern fill-in digis, at least for that period of useful service to our (limited) VHF network, generally not while mobile. But useful modern digis are "traceable" with "callsign substitution" too, and the old TAPR-2 clone TNCs (MFJ,PacComm) can't do this modern APRS digipeating without the replacement (UIDIGI freeware) EPROM. Sadly, KPC-3 TNCs earlier than v8.2 (like v5,v6) and older AEA TNCs can't do it either. 73, Cap KE6AFE > APU25N 13351 UI-View32 (can be digipeaters too) > APRS 1860 possibly old digis > APNU19 918 UIDIGI v1.93 digis > APJI23 556 javAPRSSrvr (can digi) > APN382 421 KPC-3 v8.2 digis > BEACON 399 tncs, abandoned; local initiative > APOT02 391 OpenTracker (2 can digi) > APOT2A 331 OpenTracker T2-135 (can digi) > APS228 328 APRS+SA v2.28 (can digi) > APN383 320 KPC-3 v8.3 digis > APN391 281 KPC-3 v9.1 digis > APZ186 177 UIDIGI v1.86b digis http://www.ew.usna.edu/~bruninga/aprs/APRSpaths.gif > -----Original Message----- > From: aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org > [mailto:aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org]On Behalf Of Robert Bruninga > Sent: Friday, June 06, 2008 05:50 AM > To: 'TAPR APRS Mailing List' > Subject: [aprssig] Time to UPGRADE obsolete DIGIS! > > > > > APRS 1860 possibly old digis > > > APNU19 918 UIDIGI v1.93 digis > > > APN382 421 KPC-3 v8.2 digis > > > BEACON 399 tncs, abandoned; local initiative > > > APN383 320 KPC-3 v8.3 digis > > > APN391 281 KPC-3 v9.1 digis > > Now that's an eye opener!
