Yes I have seen those devices but I was not counting those, a bit much for an antenna project. I believe I have seen some for about $125, not sure if they are for a pair or not. I am very interested in a set, wonder if I can use a USB hub on each end and just use one pair for maybe 2-4 devices. I have a 350ft driveway and it would be nice to be able to run some USB devices over there and feed it to my IT room back home in the basement. -----Original Message----- From: Jason KG4WSV [mailto:kg4wsv at gmail.com] Sent: Tuesday, June 17, 2008 8:51 PM To: k4gps at arrl.net; TAPR APRS Mailing List Subject: Re: [aprssig] Ham uses for a 1.2m Ku-band dish? This can be worked around by using one or more "active extension" (a bus-powered 1 port hub with a 5m cable) cables and by other USB extension devices, usually involving CAT5 UTP and a 3 digit price. -Jason kg4wsv
