I don't seem to have spare cycles for recreational programming these 
days, but this blog post

made me think that a filter that takes the APRS stream from the APRS-IS 
core and turns it into a GeoRSS feed could be a pretty interesting 
project. Host it at Amazon on an EC2 instance...
