For years 30M APRS was very busy 10.150.49 LSB I believe with both a handful of mobile stations and a bunch of gateway's from HF to VHF. I do not know what ever happened to the activity but I got off the air due to rig problems then hurricanes taking my antennas down but I sat on there for about 9-10 years 24/7/365. There was a 20M frequency but very little activity and was troublesome due to the QRM. Originally in the early 90's we were solely on 40M but I forget the frequency. -----Original Message----- From: aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org [mailto:aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org]On Behalf Of Matthew Stennett Sent: Sunday, May 25, 2008 9:08 PM To: aprssig at lists.tapr.org Subject: [aprssig] REF: HF Net? How About 20M ? I have long believed we should have a 20M APRS frequency. I have had little to NO success in getting many stations on 30M APRS. There has always been a presence of Packet on 20M, the .105 Net is proof of that. There should be an APRS spot, either 5KHz above ? or below the .105 Net. ...that's my 2c worth. I received no responses to my original message below so if anyone is interested in joining me in setting up such a net please contact me direct or check my web site under the 'aprs hf net' _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ aprssig mailing list aprssig at lists.tapr.org https://lists.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig
