That's a really good solution. However, if it was set to digi on its own
callsign (and not WIDE1-1 or WIDEn-N, then at least local users might
know that they could digi via <callsign> to get a message via RF to the
other side of the ridge. It could also do SSn-N digipeating... NYn-N.
Was it in New York?

Do the IGate setup as usual, and then just edit uiview32.ini... change
UIFLOOD to NY and enable it, and change UITRACE to WIDE but
not enable it. The IGate setup could gate just to stations heard direct.
