Wes,

It is very easy to take a piece of aluminum and cut it to the
size of the slot of the radio head for support.  You can bend
the other end, or do as I did and simply screw it into the 
dash with tiny sheet metal screws.  Mine is painted flat black
to give it a finished look.   

I have it placed close to the instrument cluster, behind the
steering wheel, so as to not block vision of anything important, 
and stay clear of airbags, if deployed.
