The 350 is the first (lowest) nuvi that has FMI interface. FMI makes the unit boot into rs232 mode on the usb cable and it'll be in garmin binary mode. Scott Miller's T2 tracker will talk to the garmin in this mode as will a yet to be released protocol converter. The procol converter will accept kenwood format data from the d710, and will input/output NMEA. Be aware that other models of the nuvi leave an annoying breadcrumb trail of stations when plotting rx'ed stations. The 350 correctly moves the icon instead of creating one icon for each station's position as they move. The models that do the "breadcrumb" method will fill up their waypoint memory at an incredible rate.
