I'm about to get deployed to the hurricane zone with my disaster relief crew. I've never mastered the email via aprs thing, so if anyone can point me to a tutorial, I would really like to make it work before leaving. I will be taking a D7 with me, and possibly a D700, though it would require removal from my truck ,and temp install in a rental, and stuffing in a suitcase to come home. That prospect doesn't excite me. I would rather take my tape measure beam than to take the d700. What about user-editable Tactical callsign labels on web browser displays with Google? Is this available? This weekend's First Tee event in Pebble Beach, NCA, has the Physically Challenged (PC) passenger/player shuttles on the map, and using APRS software their W6TAR* callsign labels can be translated to PC* for local map display. http://proam.aprsca.net But can such "re-labeling with TAC call for local display" be done by someone using the internet with a .kml file or Google maps too? aprs.fi or openaprs or ? Thanks. 73, Cap KE6AFE _______________________________________________ aprssig mailing list aprssig at lists.tapr.org https://lists.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig
