[aprssig] OpenAPRS Direct Client Connection Interface (gogo gadget smart phones)

I started playing with this URL today. Is it possible to indicate a symbol and
status text via this URL? Looking at the documentation it does not look like
it's possible.

Also, does this position report go out to connected APRS-IS servers, or just
directly into the findu.com database?
