Yes.  Just letting new implementers know that that this function
is optional having been made pretty obsolete by the availability
of DGPS receivers in any boat store for under $250.  And for
that purpose, not recommended due to the high APRS channel load
it requires relative to the minimum value return on that channel
loading.
