No criticism of the MT-TT4, but the T2-301 is also frequency agile, power adjustable (higher than the stock 5W or lower), can be configured with a Nuvi 350 or a PC with terminal program or otwincfg.exe, can be remotely reprogrammed via APRS messages and so on, and can send and receive APRS messages from a Nuvi 350. Just connect an antenna to the BNC connector and apply power via the DE-9 that doubles as the interface for the two com ports, WX station, 1 wire WX sensor and telemetry inputs. For a portable digi, it could use a non-display type GPS to indicate its own position, or program in a fixed location. 73 es cul - Keith VE7GDH -- "I may be lost, but I know exactly where I am!"
