Ahhh.. The smoke clears, when I have the radio set UITRACE to TEMP I don't, and here's the thing, have to have my d700 set to digi... I see the light.

With regards to the path settings on the VX-8r it was my understanding that ALL the path slots that are set are sent. Hope I'm right.
