These new devices, currently priced around $100, might be interesting, if someone would like to start to produce low-powered igate kits, or set up small igates as custom projects. There's no audio or RS-232 transceivers, but there are two UARTs. 512M DDR2 SDRAM, 512M NAND FLASH, 1.2 GHz ARMv5 CPU, gigabit ethernet and a USB2 host. Maybe a small receiver and modem would fit in the box. http://www.linuxdevices.com/news/NS9634061300.html http://www.engadget.com/2009/02/24/marvells-sheevaplug-linux-pc-fits-in-its-power-adapter/ http://www.marvell.com/products/embedded_processors/developer/kirkwood/sheevaplug.jsp http://www.globalscaletechnologies.com/p-22-sheevaplug-dev-kit.aspx http://www.pogoplug.com/ - Hessu, OH7LZB
