I can't see that the 144.39 channel can take double the messaging traffic. But that's a different topic. > I'd like to see some real effort made to get IGate <> RF messaging > working right. The aprs4r message gating code works quite well, actually - but there are setup issues with any igate, and it seems to be hard to get right, and the APRS-IS filtering mechanism doesn't always seem to work as specified, either. There are, sadly, a bunch of broken implementations out there that no one is interested in fixing. I'm working on a cookbook for starting with a WRT54GL and OT1+ and ending up with a solid digi/igate that connects directly to a radio; for about $100 and a little time, anyone will be able to do it. 73 de chris K6DBG
