POCSAG is the protocol. I know there are some Kantronics devices that transmit this. Don't know how compatible or legal it wuld be on Amateur radio. Sure would be neat to use a Motorola 2 way pager with full keyboard and have some way to address it into the APRS system without involving the commecial systems. Bob how about 2 way translation from POCSAG to APRS? Since many of these devices were in the 900 band you could use commecial repeater equipment. I have a full size 900 duplexer I'd donate to the cause if anyone wants to try.
