Yes.  Get off the digest onto regu, and get yourself a decent mail
client that will a) thread messages like you want, and b)
automatically sort them into folders so that you can read them at your
leisure.  The combination is superior to a digest in every way.

I see you're already using gmail; now you should look at filters and
labels.  This is the combination you want.
